The work has enhanced our online brand experience in ways that have never been achieved previously by this brand.”

Be rebellious.
In October 2020, Dr. Martens approached Supply and asked us to help them reimagine their DM Presents website. They wanted to break free of the existing design constraints imposed on them by their e-commerce platform and explore new ways to showcase and celebrate the artists they planned to feature in their film series.
Our recommendation was to ditch the blog-style format they had been using and instead lean into an episodic content strategy that would treat each film more like the latest episode in an ongoing web series.
Create fan art for fans.
For each episode, we created a showcase page that celebrates the individuality and rebelliousness of each artist, taking inspiration from their work and the scrappy, do-it-yourself ethos of the Dr. Martens brand.
Make technology do the work.
In the fall of 2022, as music venues began to reopen, Dr. Martens started organizing live events again. They wanted to include a live-events calendar on the DM Presents landing page, they needed it done quickly, and their marketing team wanted updating the calendar to be as simple as possible.
Taking these concerns to heart, our technology team developed a live-event calendar that leverages Eventbrite’s API as a CMS –completely removing the need for the Dr. Martens marketing team to do any additional work because they were already promoting events through Eventbrite.
